​Mianyang CHAM Successfully Included in the "2025 5G Factory List"

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the "2025 5G Factory List". In the field of electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing, the "CHAM New Energy 5G Factory", co-built by Mianyang CHAM Intelligent Battery Co., Ltd. and China Telecom Mianyang Branch, was successfully included.

This inclusion not only recognizes Mianyang CHAM's 5G application capabilities but also highlights the achievements of its collaborative innovation with basic network operators. Centered on the "5G + Industrial Internet" application, the project addresses key challenges in battery manufacturing, such as difficult precision process control, low quality inspection efficiency, and delayed equipment fault response. By deeply integrating 5G technology with CHAM's manufacturing automation control system, it has achieved intelligent upgrading breakthroughs in multiple links. For instance, relying on the 5G-integrated automation control system, AGV trolleys operate fully automatically in the workshop, greatly reducing manual intervention, significantly improving the efficiency and smoothness of material transfer, and effectively avoiding waiting delays and operational chaos common in traditional scheduling. Currently, the factory has realized automatic collection and real-time analysis of data throughout the production process, replacing traditional manual recording. This not only reduces human errors but also enables managers to accurately grasp production status, identify and handle abnormalities promptly, and comprehensively enhance the transparency and management level of the production process.

As China's first private enterprise to mass-produce lithium batteries on a large scale, CHAM New Energy maintains a leading position in the shipment volume of high-capacity cylindrical batteries. Mianyang CHAM owns China's first fully automated high-speed production line for wide-temperature semi-solid cylindrical batteries built on digitalization. Focusing on the "dynamic-storage integration" application scenarios (small power and small energy storage) and centering on customers' core needs for high safety, long battery life, high rate, and long service life, it has launched the 32/46 series of large cylindrical battery products, including the 32140 basic model, high-rate model, high-capacity model, and high-temperature model (supporting long-term operation in 65℃ environment), all of which have been mass-produced and shipped. With the further deepening of "5G + Industrial Internet" applications, CHAM New Energy will provide customers with higher-quality products and services.
